Mark Green

Senior Pastor

Pastor Mark is the visionary of ABC. He has been pastoring for over twenty years, beginning as a youth pastor, moving into an associate pastor role, and then becoming the executive director at Love, INC Tri-Cities for two years. He has been the senior pastor at Allendale Baptist Church since 2014.

He met his wife Angie in 1987 when they both worked at New York Carpet World. They have three children, two granddaughters, and two grandsons. Mark enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and running (not at the same time). He also has a strange affinity for Barney Fife.

Larry Salisbury

Discipleship Pastor

Pastor Larry Salisbury brings a wealth of mission and church planting experience from over 20 years in Southeast Asia to his role at ABC. After graduating from Cornerstone University and Moody Bible Institute, his journey in ministry began in the Philippines with SEND International. He and his wife, Donna, dedicated themselves to church planting and leadership training. Larry's work overseas involved church multiplication, leading small groups, and pioneering in evangelism and discipleship, preparing him uniquely for his role in discipleship and outreach with us.

Larry is originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, often referred to as a "Yooper," while his wife, Donna, hails from Philadelphia. They have been married for over 36 years, during which time they've raised three children and now enjoy the company of five grandchildren. Beyond his ministry, Larry is a fan of the Green Bay Packers and looks forward to March Madness each year.

Glenn Chinavare has held many significant roles, including serving as the Treasurer for the American Public Works Association's Michigan Southwest Branch, a Senior Logistics Representative at Grumman Aircraft Systems Division, and a Supply Officer in the U.S. Navy. His educational background includes an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BA in Business Administration from Olivet College, underpinning his extensive career in financial management and logistics.

Glenn is actively involved in community service, serving on various public works associations and building boards in Michigan. His professional and community activities reflect a commitment to responsible financial stewardship and a dedication to community service.

Carrie is the glue who holds the church together. She graduated from Aquinas college with a BS/BA in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources and a minor in Psychology. She has over 30 years of administrative experience. She has worked for Allendale Baptist Church since 2019.

Carrie married the love of her life, Dave, in 1995 and they have three beautiful girls together. In her free time, Carrie enjoys reading, walking, bird watching, researching, and relaxing with her family.

Lori Sides

Director of Technology & Administrative Assistant

Lori comes to us with an impressive background in accounting and a commitment to her community. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, Lori holds a BS/BA in Accounting and is a licensed CPA. Her professional journey spans 36 years in public accounting, which includes several years as a high school math teacher and a 24-year tenure as the Bookkeeper/Financial Manager at Lakeshore Baptist Church before her recent retirement.

Lori's personal life has been full of love and resilience. Married for 37 years until her husband's passing in 2021, Lori and her husband were blessed with four children—two sons and two daughters. Today, Lori finds joy and inspiration in her nine grandchildren. Beyond her professional and family life, Lori enjoys reading, biking, skiing, and cherishing moments with her children and grandchildren.

Autumn currently serves as the Director of Technology and Administrative Assistant for Pastor Larry. With a genuine passion for making technology accessible to all, she is committed to demystifying the digital world for individuals of any age or skill level within our church community.

Before joining our team, Autumn brought her talents to the educational field. She has a rich history of teaching high school biology at Friday Addition, and spent four years as a paraprofessional at Young Adult Services. There, she played a crucial role in preparing young adults with for employment, showcasing her dedication to empowering others. Beyond her professional life, Autumn is an avid reader and appreciates the beauty of art and the insights of video essays.

Bio

Trudy started her career in banking right after finishing school, working as a bank teller. She spent over 22 years in the industry, juggling her roles in accounts receivable and payable with her responsibilities as a wife and mother. She also managed the accounts for three businesses from home while her children were young. Her expertise in finance is evident in her current position as the financial secretary for ABC, a role she values for its connection to her lifelong interest in numbers and finance.

On the personal side, Trudy's life has been deeply shaped by her marriage to Buck for 55 years until his passing four years ago. Together, they raised three children, who have given them nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren (so far)
