What we mean when we say:
Connect. Grow. Share
CONNECT with God and Each Other
“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment’.”
(Matthew 22:37–38).
As you can see in Scripture, loving God is very important to God. We as a church are working very hard to love God with everything we have. We aren’t perfect at it, but connecting with our Creator is our highest priority. Why? Because it was His highest priority to connect with us when He sent His only Son to seek and save those who were lost!
“And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39).
People are very important to our Heavenly Father and so, as a church body, people are important to us. It is our sincere desire to love people right where they’re at in life. We don’t wait for people to clean up and change to love them because we are still being cleaned up and changing too!
(Matthew 22:37–38).

GROW in Christ-likeness
“Like newborn infants, desire the pure spiritual milk, so that you may grow by it for your salvation, since you have tasted that the Lord is good.” (1 Peter 2:2).
We take growth in Christ seriously at Allendale Baptist Church. Our morning service offers messages directly out of the text of the Bible. We believe it is very important to know what the Lord tells us, and to do it! He has written a book and it is our goal to know this book as thoroughly as possible. Each Sunday morning we work our way through a passage of the Bible in order to gain a clearer idea of His will for our lives.
We also offer equipping classes on Sunday mornings that equip believers in many different ways. We offer practical classes on topics such as studying the Bible, parenting, marriage, and finances as well as classes that dig deep into theology and God's word. Additionally, on Saturdays we have year-long academic courses in Systematic Theology, Church History/Historical Theology, and Hermeneutics.

SHARE the Love of Jesus
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13).
As a Christian, have you ever wondered why the Lord has kept you around? When you became a follower of Jesus, why didn’t he simply bring you home to be with Him? The answer is clear in Scripture--to share the love of Jesus with those who do not know Him as their Lord and Savior. The reality is, if someone dies without this crucial relationship, if they fail to obey the gospel, they will be separated from God for all eternity in Hell. Our privilege as Christians is to share what God has accomplished through Jesus Christ.
At Allendale Baptist we are committed to sharing the gospel throughout the world and support missionaries in several foreign countries.
We also support Christian ministries local to Allendale such as:
