College & 20's Ministry

Allendale is a college town full of young people. Here are the ways we serve them.

Just like the rest of our church, our college and 20's ministry is Biblically-saturated and relationship-focused.

It is our goal to offer young adults in college or in the midst of their careers serious discipleship and genuine fellowship.

Here are the 4 main ways we specifically minister to this age group:

1) Prayer Partner Ministry

For young people looking for prayer support we have members of our church ready and committed to partnering with them and praying for them everyday.

Our prayer partners get in touch with each other regularly to share prayer requests and commit to faithfully praying for one another.

If you are interested in getting a prayer partner, let us know at [email protected]

2) Young Adult Connection Group

Pastor Tim and Alex Arndt (and their kids) have young adults over to their home every Wednesday evening for dinner, fellowship, and prayer.

There is always food available at their house as well as a time of prayer.

If you would be interested in visiting the young adult connection group, contact us at [email protected]

3) Discipleship Micro-Groups

These groups are not for everyone.

That being said, those who are able to participate say it has been extremely helpful to them as they grew in knowledge, maturity, and faith.

They consist of 3-5 individuals who commit to meeting weekly to discuss assigned Bible reading and doing a small amount of homework.

Throughout their time together they will cover a minimum of 25 topics from theology to practical Christian living.

Since the discipleship micro-groups are limited in size, they are not always available right away but if you are interested we promise to make every effort to start a new group that you can be a part of.

4) Our Sunday Service

We are currently meeting at 11am on Sundays.

We preach sermons from the Bible for 45-60 minutes and our services are usually a total of 90 minutes.

People dress however they are most comfortable. Some may dress formally and some will wears shorts and t-shirts.

We do offer rides.

Many young adults, especially students, don't have dependable transportation to come to our Sunday Service.

If you would like to come to church on a Sunday, but don't have a ride, let us know and we can pick you up in our church van.

If you want to get more information about our Sunday service, see the Plan-A-Visit page below.
